5th May 2011 - Kidscape
Well done to all the children and staff at J&R Care for their participation in the company Kidscape training day. It was a fun way of learning and I think all who took part enjoyed the day. A special mention to MY who managed to get himself awarded the prize for the 'child who contributed the most'. Very well done M, you deserved it. Outstanding contribution. A mention also to APH who after a slow start, engaged well and have a lot of interesting comments and contributions to make.

3rd May 2011 - English Coursework
Well done to MY and GM for submitting their English GCSE coursework on time. This was a massive acheivement and although staff helped remind you, you accomplished something really special today. Well done.

1st May 2011 - New Assistant Manager
Well done GC for becoming the new Assistant Manager of the home. Although you have been undertaking this role, unofficially since January, it is good to have you officially on board now and we look forward to what you can bring to the team.

16th April 2011 - Exams
We have two young people (M&G) who are undertaking their GCSE’s in English, Maths and Art as well as one young person about to take his PE GCSE. We wish them luck with this and congratulate them on this achievement so far.

We are in the process of planning a holiday for the May half term.

Well done to APH for settling down in the classroom and undertaking some really good pieces of work.

Well done to M & G who have been accepted onto a college course in September 2011.

Well done to M who is undergoing work experience with a local activity centre and G for his continued work experience with a local football skills academy.

Well done to AB as he continues to improve his behaviour and is preparing for SATS.

22nd December 2011 - Christmas Celebrations
Well done to all the young people and staff and parents who dressed up for our annual Fancy dress Christmas party and well done to everyone who won a prize.

Well done to GM for designing and drawing the Annex School logo which has now become our school shield. Excellent work.

26th May 2010 - Well Done
Congratulations to three of our young people for being brave enough to experience Coasteering and Rock Climbing in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It was scary but great fun!
